What Happens When You Drink More Water Everyday

A gallon of water a day would make you healthier right? Is that really how it works?

Everyone knows there is some truth to the water myth but no one knows exactly how their body would react to an extra gallon of water coming in every day. In this article we will show you a couple of ways water helps your body,

Better Movements at your Joints

A large part of the cartilage that and makes the joint movements smooth is made of water. When you drink enough water it can also help you keep a painful joint from hurting too bad as it helps to flush toxins that could inflame the joints or cause more problems.

You Tend to sweat a lot more.

Do not think of this as a bad thing. Its a good thing when your body releases sweat. It cools down your skin and makes you look fresh. Take an extra gulp before heading out to exercise or take water with you while having a workout session.

Your Kidneys Thank you everyday

Water flushes waste from your body. If you do not drink enough water, waste builds up in the body and this can lead to a build up of myglobin (a type of protein) in your kidneys. Dehydration can lead to kidney stones or a urinary infection.

It May help you Gain An athletic Edge

You are more tired when you are dehydrated. So as you sweat its better to replace with water and electrolytes, cool down, strengthen your muscle, cleanse your heart and gain more energy. Water does all this and helps you perform better.

You will lose weight

The more water you drink, the less fat, sugar, salt through the day. This  means Hydration could help lose weight. Water also helps to speed up your metabolism because of the space it takes in your stomach so you feel more full.

Your heart works to its full capacity.

When you don't drink enough water your heart doesn't have to work much. In fact dehydration affects your blood vessels the same way cigarettes does. You would have less blood in your body which can lower blood pressure and raise your heart rate.

Now that you know somethings that water helps your body achieve.

How much water should you really have daily?

The answer is 15 cups for men and 11 cups for women.

But this doesn't mean to start chugging 11-15 cups daily in order to meet this requirement, remember that 20 to 30 percent of your water intake comes from your food and even more comes from other drinks. A sick person would need more intake of water.

Too much water in the system can make you sick. It is called hyponatremia. If you have health issues, it would be advisable to check how much water is good for you and if too much water could affect you.

Drink Enough water to keep your urine slightly yellow but don't drink too much that your urine is always clear.
